The Castello Brothers (Michael and David Castello) first made their mark developing Geodomains
such as PalmSprings.com (1995), LagunaBeach.com (1997), Acapulco.com (1995), WestPalmBeach.com (1997)
and Nashville.com (2003). These Geodomains are the intuitive worldwide brands for their respective destinations and each has generated and directed millions of dollars in revenue for hotels, restaurants, attractions and other local advertisers in their markets. They also own and develop brands such as Manicure.com, Bullion.com, Whisky.com,
Banana.com, Kennel.com, Cost.com, Traveler.com, Bootleg.com, Sample.com and Rate.com.
In addition to their work with CCIN (Castello Cities Internet
Network, PalmSprings.com's parent company), Michael Castello is also the Director for the Regrets and Girls webisode series and David Castello is the Drummer and Manager for Nashville rock artist BREE.
The Castello Brothers are members of ICANN's
Business Constituency. Awards include the Domainer Hall of Fame
(T.R.A.F.F.I.C.), the GeoDomain Hall of Fame (Geo Expo) and
the Domainers Choice Awards for Domain Ambassadors (DOMAINfest).
Executive Vice President/Director of Business
Kate has over 15 years experience in advertising, marketing,
branding, and public relations. She earned a BA in Advertising from the University of Kentucky, and, after garnering invaluable agency-side experience in Lexington, New York City and Palm Desert, joined PalmSprings.com
in 1998. Kate specializes in working with hotels, resorts and
local businesses to generate new-found revenue based upon the
unique brand traffic of the geodomain she manages, helping them
grow and promote their businesses on both a local and global
In addition to her work with CCIN (Castello Cities Internet
Network, PalmSprings.com's parent company), Kate is committed
to supporting nonprofit organizations. She's shared her time
and talent with Junior Achievement, Poetry in the Classroom,
Pet Partners, Boys and Girls Club, and Children's Hospital Orange
County, among others. Kate is also an award-winning poet and
visual artist, KateBuckley.com, and holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Spalding
University. She is widely published as both a poet and an essayist,
and her popular biweekly columns featuring interviews with local
newsmakers and commentary on local issues and events can be
found at Kate Buckley's Palm Springs Blog.
Vice President of Media Relations
Joanne is the Vice President of Media Relations for
CCIN (Castello Cities Internet Network, PalmSprings.com's
parent company) and is the Calendar Of Events and Forum Editor for PalmSprings.com.
She is also the Calendar Of Events Editor for LagunaBeach.com, Nashville.com and WestPalmBeach.com. Joanne has established relationships with numerous businesses, attractions, entertainment venues in each city helping to promote their events. She also launched and maintains the highly successful Whisky.com Forum
(established relationships with numerous distilleries throughout Scotland, acting as a liasion between the Whisky.com customer and distillery).
Joanne earned a BA in English from Flagler College. Her diverse experience includes working as a public relations liasion for the St. Augustine Chamber of Commerce, assisting visitors planning a visit to historic St. Augustine (the oldest European settlement in the United States), and the Special Investigative Unit for State Farm Insurance. Joanne also worked as a specialist in Humanities in Japan where she taught English to Japanese children.
